Inauguration of catechism Report
June:4 The commencement of 2017 – 2018 catechism was inaugurated on June 4 in the Eucharistic celebration at 07.15am. Surathkal Parish Preist Rev. Fr. Paul Pinto, all the Teachers and few students carrying the 7 Gifts of the Holy Spirit entered the church with the entrance hymn.
The seven gifts were placed on a tree and the hymn of the Holy Spirit to pour on each one of us a Hymn was sung. The present Varado coordinator is Mrs. Janet F. D’ Souza, coordinator Mrs. Sandrich D’souza along with 20 teachers were present for the inauguration and the liturgical duties were done in a very devotional manner. At the end of the mass the new committees of the parish council were inaugurated with all the heads of the committees and Vice President, Secretary. Valchi Zhar’s third edition book was also released by the Rev.Fr. Paul Pinto along with the editor Mr.George Ligory and Mr.Lancy Sequira Sub editor.
